Experience

SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, FUNCTIONAL LEAD / GUI & INTERACTION DESIGN 2003 - PRESENT

I have experience in working with interaction design – designing workflows and GUIs Design, authoring scenarios, conceptual drawings, wireframes and GUI Designs. I also work with information architecture (requirements analysis, authoring and management) using tools such as Caliber RM. I have participated in project for both Windows based and web based software/clients and have also been part of a team developing a graphical format and a graphical editor for building automations software systems by Schneider Electric (formerly TAC AB).

My experience includes usability analysis / tests, performing tests on prototypes and early editions of software/user interfaces.

SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC, TECHNICAL WRITER, TEACHER AND SUB-PROJECT MANAGER - 1995 TO 2003

My previous position was as a technical editor/writer and teacher with responsibility for technical documentation for TAC’s building automation system TAC Vista, both in Swedish and English.

During my time as a technical editor I lead a pilot project analyzing the need for user support looking into using XML/ SGML as a base for a system for user support/technicaldocumentation.

For ca 2 years I was assigned as a sub project manager(responsible for analysis, project documentation/administration, testing and technical documentation) for energy services as a part of a web based product platform for services provided across the Internet. Both in a professional capacity and in my spare time I have long experience in development of web sites using HTML, CSS and XML, as well as using CMS systems to develop web sites.

PROJECT ASSISTANT, COMMENTOR AB, LUND, SWEDEN, 1990 - 1995

The position as project assistant/manager included responsibility for analysis, technical support, testing, technical documentation and education for customers of the systems for administration, logistics and finances developed by Commentor. The systems where UNIX based, for environments such as HP UX and IBM AIX, and aimed at midsize companies such as Tele Larm (now part of Fallk / Securitas) and Extra Film etc.

Hobbies

I am (since 1990) active at Malmö Aikido Club and since 2009 also in Malmö Budo Club. I hold a 4th Dan (black belt) in Aikido and I am the head instructor in aikido at the club. I have also previously been the treasurer of Malmö Aikido Club for 9 years.

I have a great interest in Japan have visited Japan twice (spring of 2006 and summer 2009), to practice aikido and to experience the country. I have a minor knowledge in spoken Japanese and experience of the Japanese culture and business culture.
